Job summary
AESC US LLC is seeking a QMS Engineer to lead quality management initiatives at our Columbia, SC facility. You will drive internal and external audits, manage non-conformances, and collaborate with operations, quality, and engineering teams to uphold IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and VDA 6.3 compliance.
The role offers involvement across global operations, with a focus on continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and regulatory alignment to support the company’s leadership in battery technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Five years of manufacturing, quality, or engineering experience preferred.
- Experience deploying or updating a QMS in manufacturing; audit experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead deployment and maintenance of the QMS and core processes.
- Coordinate internal and external audits to ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and VDA 6.3.
- Monitor quality standards and advise on QMS changes.
- Drive closure of non-conformances and conduct root-cause analysis.
- Report progress, issues, and action plans to leadership at milestones.
- Stay abreast of industry trends to maintain competitive edge.
- Develop and evaluate quality strategy, plans, and objectives.
