Job summary

University of Southern California is seeking an IAM PAM & SSO Senior Analyst to design, implement and support enterprise identity solutions across PAM, SSO, MFA and related IAM services. You will partner with application, infrastructure and cybersecurity teams to deliver secure, scalable identity services.

This role reports to the PAM & SSO Services Manager and is based at USC's CAL location in a hybrid work environment, supporting a major research university's identity platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4 years in Identity and Access Management.
• Hands-on IAM solution experience.
• Unix command line proficiency.
• SQL and LDAP experience.
• IAM concepts: PBAC, RBAC, AuthN/AuthZ.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of gathering requirements and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and maintains PAM, SSO, MFA IAM solutions for secure, scalable identity services.
• Partners with teams to integrate enterprise systems with IAM services.
• Troubleshoots identities, access, entitlements, and secrets management.
• Performs platform administration: upgrades, patching, monitoring, and health checks.
• Develops and maintains technical docs, standards, and runbooks.
• Provides guidance and knowledge transfer to teams and stakeholders.
• Researches emerging IAM technologies to improve service strength.
