Job summary

Reserv is seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management professional to own the end-to-end lifecycle for users and contractors, enforce least privilege, and implement just-in-time elevation across Okta and AWS.

You will build detection for access anomalies, lead insider threat investigations, and automate audit preparation using Python and PowerShell. The role requires strong communication and experience in cloud-first environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a Cybersecurity or relevant role; with minimum 4+ focused squarely on identity and access management.
• IGA platform experience with Okta (required).
• Rippling or a comparable modern HRIS used as an identity source of truth.
• Security+, Okta Certified Administrator / Consultant, or relevant.
• Identity threat detection or Identity Security Posture Management experience.
• Scaling IAM through high growth or surge onboarding.
• Deep hands-on Okta: SSO, SCIM, Lifecycle Management, workflows, and policy design.
• Understanding of SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, MFA and conditional access.
• Privileged access management experience: vaulting and just-in-time elevation.
• Cloud IAM in AWS: roles and policies.
• RBAC/ABAC design and SoD enforcement.
• Scripting/automation in Python or PowerShell against REST APIs.
• Discretion handling confidential investigations and separations.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience in a cloud-first or startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer the identity lifecycle end to end for employees, contractors, and independent adjusters.
• Manage access certifications with evidence-based remediation and least privilege.
• Assure standing admin access with just-in-time elevation across Okta, AWS, and payment platforms.
• Identify anomalies and tune detection for access, dormant accounts, and privilege escalation.
• Lead incidents and insider threat investigations, reconstructing timelines and containing exposure.
• Drive automation using Python, PowerShell, Okta Workflows and APIs for audit prep.
• Support SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and state insurance data security requirements with robust access controls.
• Mentor and coach business reviewers to scale access hygiene.
