Job summary

Muon Space is seeking aSenior IT Engineer to own authentication and authorization across SaaS, cloud, on-prem, and endpoints. You will architect scalable IAM solutions using Okta, AD, and Microsoft 365, while enforcing least-privilege access and managing access reviews.

5+ years of IT experience with Okta and AD/Google Workspace is preferred. This onsite role requires working in our San Jose, CA office five days a week with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience.
• Hands-on experience with Okta and identity management.
• Experience administering Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Google Workspace administration.
• Experience managing identity and access across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and access governance.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Own authentication across the organization, including SaaS apps, cloud environments, on-premises infrastructure, and user endpoints.
• Architect and evolve our Okta environment to fit a fast-growing company.
• Design authorization models with least-privilege access.
• Build and maintain access request workflows and access reviews.
• Define and enforce access restrictions for CUI, EAR, and ITAR data.
• Administer identity across Okta, AD, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365.
• Manage identity across AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with IT, Security, and business teams to align IAM with compliance and operations.
