Job summary

QXO seeks a Lead Associate Engineer, Identity and Access Management to lead the IGA program from greenfield deployment to ongoing governance. You will build connectors, provisioning workflows, and JML pipelines, and partner across HR, IT, and security to scale the IAM stack.

You will mentor other IAM engineers, design risk-aware controls, and drive automation to reduce manual work, with a focus on least-privilege and auditable configurations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on IAM/IGA engineering experience.
• Experience building or configuring connectors and integrations (SCIM, REST/SOAP APIs).
• Solid understanding of identity lifecycle (JML), RBAC/role modeling, and SoD concepts.
• Holistic IAM knowledge beyond governance (PAM, directory services).
• Scripting or automation ability (Python, PowerShell).
• Strong cross-functional communication with HR, Enterprise Applications, Infrastructure, and Engineering stakeholders.
• Experience coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to less-experienced engineers.
• Preferred: greenfield IAM/IGA deployment experience.
• Preferred: awareness of non-human identity (NHI) concepts.

Responsibilities

• Push automation as the default and simplify manual steps.
• Configure and build the IGA platform with connectors, provisioning logic, and workflows.
• Develop JML workflows linking HR data to access across systems.
• Design integrations where standard connectors miss gaps.
• Configure SoD detection rules and access-certification campaigns.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Enterprise Applications, and HR Ops as the program scales.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity for risk remediation and control issues.
• Lead, coach, and review IAM engineers to maintain quality.
