Job summary

WEX is seeking an Information Systems Engineer 3 – Senior Identity Engineering & Automation Lead to drive complex IAM workflows, automation, and governance initiatives. You will partner with US architectural leads and lead Brazil-based efforts to ensure platform continuity and rapid escalation handling.

Key work includes architecting SailPoint IIQ and Okta integrations, developing self-healing automation pipelines, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure secure, compliant access management

Qualifications

• Experience in IAM engineering or IT operations leadership within enterprise environments.
• Deep SailPoint IIQ knowledge, Okta API orchestration, AD, and OAuth/SAML protocols.
• Programming/scripting in Python/PowerShell; building automated CI/CD or workflow pipelines.
• Experience leading AI-driven governance tools and automation initiatives.
• Business-level English and cross-functional leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Platform Engineering: serve as senior technical point of contact for IAM orchestrations (SailPoint IIQ), Okta frameworks, and Directory Services.
• Agentic AI & Workflow Automation: design and deploy self-healing workflows and automated access recertification pipelines.
• Knowledge Transfer & Mentorship: lead onboarding and reverse-shadowing for Brazil team members to boost velocity.
• Compliance Lead: oversee SOX controls and audit readiness across identity stack with Legal, Risk and Security teams.
• Systemic Root-Cause Analysis: lead post-incident reviews for access-related outages and policy failures, driving automated remediation.
