Job summary

Soni's client is seeking a Senior IAM Engineer to design, implement, and support identity and access management solutions that strengthen security and streamline IT operations. • Contribute to IAM architecture, engineering standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior IAM engineers and provide technical guidance to team members.
• Support automation and process improvements to increase the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of IAM operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IAM engineering or a related cybersecurity/identity role.
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts, technologies, security controls, and industry best practices.
• Hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as Okta, PingFederate, SailPoint, CyberArk, and Microsoft Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Experience with reverse proxy and application access solutions, including Okta Access Gateway and Microsoft App Proxy.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Demonstrated curiosity and commitment to continuous learning in the IAM and cybersecurity space.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with cloud-based IAM solutions and enterprise integrations.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and security standards relevant to IAM, including GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.
• Experience working with DevOps, CI/CD, and AWS environments.
• Experience with scripting, automation, and developing solutions to streamline IAM processes.
• Understanding of security control concepts and their practical application within IAM environments.
