Spirit AeroSystems is seeking an experienced information security professional to lead and maintain compliance, risk management and security policy across our Wichita, KS operations. The role requires 10+ years of experience, DoD-related credentials, and the ability to obtain a U.S.

Secret Clearance. The candidate will develop training, coordinate audits, oversee accreditation activities, and collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure program compliance while supporting a 100% onsite work

Formación

• 10+ years of related professional experience.
• Must be able to obtain CISSP and/or CISM Certification within first 6 months of employment.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access (U.S. Citizenship required).

Responsabilidades

• Monitor laws, regulations, industry standards and best practices related to information security and ensure implementation.
• Develop, maintain and interpret policies and procedures for protection of systems, networks, people, information and property.
• Perform compliance and assessment activities related to information security, data privacy, incident management and risk management.
• Collaboratively develop risk mitigation plans with SMEs and ensure accountability.
• Assess compliance, security and control risks related to information systems and technical infrastructure.
• Develop training materials and promote information security awareness.
• Translate complex technical concepts into business terms for non-technical stakeholders.
• Support internal and external audit activities related to information security.
• May oversee DoD accreditation of secure operating systems and networks.
• Collaborate with federal oversight/regulatory agencies to ensure DoD compliance.
• May manage access requests and security awareness training programs.
• May require information system security certifications.
