Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks an I&E Planner with SAP experience to develop detailed job plans for instrumentation and electrical maintenance at the Bishop, Texas site. You will ensure the right scope, labor, tools, and permits are prepared in advance to support reliable plant operations.

Responsibilities include creating CMMS work orders, coordinating with operations and engineering, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and ISA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical cert preferred.
• 5+ years I&E maintenance experience in industrial/energy settings.
• 1–2 years in a planning role is expected.
• Electrical Journeyman License preferred.
• OSHA 30 or NFPA 70E certification preferred.
• Knowledge of PLCs, DCS, VFDs, transmitters, relays, motors.
• Ability to read P&IDs and wiring diagrams.
• Proficient with CMMS and Microsoft Office; strong organizational skills.
• Familiar with safety practices and work permitting systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate job plans for preventive, corrective, and predictive I&E activities.
• Identify labor, tools, permits, and safety requirements for each job.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering to prioritize work.
• Create and manage work orders in CMMS and track progress.
• Order and reserve parts and tools with procurement and storeroom.
• Schedule jobs to minimize downtime and avoid conflicts.
• Participate in RCA and reliability initiatives for I&E issues.
• Ensure work complies with electrical codes and ISA standards.
