Job summary

Westinghouse Electric - USA in New Stanton, PA is seeking an engineer to shape the supply chain for Instrumentation & Controls hardware. You will coordinate quotes and purchase orders for I&C parts and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely procurement.

You will develop CDI packages, draft test procedures, and tackle obsolescence by identifying suitable alternates. The role includes on-site lab work 2–3 days weekly with a hybrid arrangement.

Qualifications

• B.S. in an ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology program.
• 4+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Working knowledge of analog circuit design.
• Reading and creating electrical schematics.
• PCB assembly processes understanding.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, analyze, and manage quotes and purchase orders for I&C parts.
• Collaborate with internal Sales, vendor partners, and customers to clarify specifications and support timely procurement.
• Develop CDI packages and procurement/manufacturing documentation.
• Tackle engineering issues—including obsolescence—by identifying suitable alternates and mitigation strategies.
• Draft test procedures, execute functional testing, and set up/monitor equipment for seismic, environmental, and EMC evaluations.
