Job summary

Equipment & Controls, Inc. in Lawrence, PA is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to design and validate electrical systems for process control projects. You will work with NFPA/NEC standards and interface with customers across oil, gas, chemical, and other industries.

The role requires designing grounding, heat trace, lighting, and diagrams, plus travel to client sites and on-call support as needed. A BSEE with 7+ years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• BSEE with 7+ years of electrical experience.
• Ability to design, develop, and test electrical equipment and systems.
• Understand the fundamentals of process control.
• Ability to interface with customers and travel to sites.
• Ability to support on-call duty.

Responsibilities

• Meet customer requirements while applying NFPA/NEC standards for oil, gas, and chemical industries.
• Design grounding, heat trace, lighting, panel layouts, single-line and three-line diagrams for low voltage systems.
• Size cable tray and conduit.
• Commission and provide post-startup support for engineering designs.
• Support customer contracts for 24/7 emergency response and preventive maintenance.
