Job summary

Cimarron Software Services is seeking a senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to support the USAF Sentinel program in Ogden, UT. The role emphasizes design of control systems for facility utilities, generation of P&IDs and datasheets, and collaboration with multiple engineering teams.

The position is 100% onsite with a 9x80 schedule, paid overtime, relocation allowance if needed, and eligibility for U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in nuclear or industrial facilities.
• Ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Experience with HVAC design and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems for USAF Sentinel projects.
• Create and review P&IDs, logic diagrams, and instrument data sheets.
• Develop instrument indexes and I/O lists from vendor inputs.
• Prepare specifications and procurement docs using SpecsIntact.
• Ensure designs meet security requirements with government stakeholders.
