Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Navigation, Guidance, and Control SME Engineer to support the CHGB program across defense, space, cyber, and commercial fields. You will contribute to system-level integration, testing, and engineering analyses within a collaborative team environment, handling complex avionics tasks.

The role emphasizes hands-on laboratory work, instrumented testing, and cross-functional communication to drive mission success in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited institution.
• 4+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years in lieu of degree, or MS with 2+ years.
• Able to read engineering drawings and schematics to produce complex assemblies.
• Experience in electronics integration, test and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation and test methods.
• Knowledge of environmental testing and circuit design (analog/digital/power).

Responsibilities

• Conduct non-conformances investigations.
• Troubleshoot test equipment and unit under test.
• Work through root cause corrective action.
• Assist in requirement decomposition.
