Leidos is seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join the Hypersonics team supporting the CHGB program in Huntsville, AL. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of prior relevant experience in test engineering for electronic systems or Master's degree in related field with 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or LabVIEW.
• Familiarity with test automation and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of electronics design, including reading schematics.
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing and embedded systems.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, RS232, Ethernet).
• Ability to use test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators).
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and Agile development methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area. US Citizenship is required and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test procedures for avionics hardware components and systems.
• Develop test software using modern languages (Python, C/C++, LabVIEW) within a CI/CD framework.
• Support hardware-in-the-loop test systems that simulate real-world conditions for avionics components.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and mechanical engineers to optimize product performance.
• Document test requirements, procedures, and results using digital engineering tools.
• Apply "test-like-you-fly" methodologies to ensure products meet mission requirements.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and provide technical recommendations.
• Participate in review boards and technical interchange meetings with customers and suppliers.]
