Stantec in Southern California is seeking a Principal / Senior Principal Hydrogeologist to lead complex groundwater and environmental projects, win work, grow client relationships, and mentor teams. The role emphasizes seller-doer capabilities and strategic leadership across California.

You will oversee hydrogeology, groundwater management, and site remediation efforts, ensure safe, on-time, on-budget delivery, and foster client trust while advancing the practice through business development and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in hydrogeology, geology, geological engineering, civil engineering, water resources engineering, or a related field.
MS or PhD preferred.
California CHG/PG/PE registrations preferred; relevant professional credentials considered.

Responsabilités

Develop, maintain, and expand relationships with existing and prospective clients across California.
Lead proposal development, presentations, interviews, and contract negotiations to win work.
Provide senior technical oversight for hydrogeologic investigations, groundwater management, and remediation projects.
Mentor staff, manage project delivery, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
Drive revenue growth, backlog development, and client satisfaction in Southern California.
