Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Hydrogeologist to join the Nuclear Services Group. You will lead regulatory engagements with NRC and stakeholders, collect data during site visits, and stay current on environmental regulations for nationwide licensing projects.

This role can be based in multiple U.S. locations including Naperville, IL. Responsibilities include environmental impact assessment, data collection, reporting, and fieldwork with occasional travel; opportunity to develop protection

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field; Master's preferred.
6–15 years of hydrogeology experience.
Experience working with federal and/or state regulatory agencies.
Experience developing technical environmental reports and supporting regulatory reviews.
Excellent writing, communication, strategic thinking, and people skills.
Proficient in hydrogeologic principles including characterization, assessments and monitoring.
Ability to travel up to 5% with fieldwork of several days.

Responsibilities

Conduct environmental reviews to assess potential groundwater and water resources impacts and prepare NRC/NEPA-compliant reports.
Participate in site visits to gather data and support environmental licensing applications.
Develop and present environmental information to technical and non-technical audiences.
Assist in fieldwork and implementation of environmental protection measures.
