Job summary

Dewberry | Hydro is seeking an exceptional Senior Hydrogeologist in our Central Florida Water Market. The position requires a degree in Geology and/or hydrogeology, with a Master’s degree preferred and 15–20 years of directly related experience.

You will conduct complex groundwater research, develop groundwater flow models (MODFLOW, Groundwater Vistas), assess regulatory issues, and interact with clients and agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Hydrogeology; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience with regulators and engineering teams.
• Strong groundwater-flow modeling knowledge and skills.
• Proficient technical writing and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and provide technical expertise on groundwater projects.
• Model groundwater flow systems and develop hydrogeologic models.
• Provide solutions to complex water management issues and present to audiences.
• Manage projects, contractors, and deliverables; write proposals.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team planning.
