Job summary

Emerson Power & Water Solutions seeks a Hydroelectric Solutions Engineer to lead strategic solutions for hydroelectric generation projects. You will guide technical and commercial decisions, defining scope and value propositions for large capital and EPC projects.

Based in multiple US offices, you will collaborate with customers, sales, and execution teams, developing repeatable templates and improving proposal quality while staying abreast of hydro industry trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years in hydroelectric power industry or equivalent.
• Experience with industrial automation, control systems, SCADA, DCS, PLCs, and digital tech in power generation.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic pursuit planning for hydro projects.
• Define project scope and execution strategies with customers and internal teams.
• Develop solution architectures for hydro modernization and control systems.
