DLZ Corporation seeks an experienced Hydraulics Project Manager in Columbus, OH to lead water resources projects and guide multidisciplinary teams. You will manage budgets, schedules, and client communications while applying hydraulic modeling expertise to municipal, state, and private sector assignments.

The role requires a PE license, 10–15 years in hydraulics and project management, and strong knowledge of stormwater and water infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with hydraulics emphasis; Master's preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required (or be in process) and active in good standing.
• 10–15 years of experience in hydraulics and project management.
• Strong understanding of stormwater, floodplain, and municipal water systems.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Experience in proposal development and business development is strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead hydraulic and water resources projects from planning through design and delivery.
• Serve as primary client contact; build and maintain relationships.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and deliverables for quality and profitability.
• Provide technical leadership in hydraulic modeling and analyses.
• Coordinate permitting and compliance with agencies.
• Mentor junior engineers and support career development.
• Support business development, including proposals and presentations.
