Job summary

Delan Associates, Inc. seeks a Senior Hybrid Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and operate enterprise infrastructure across on-prem and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This hands-on leader drives modernization, automation, and security, migrating workloads, building reusable Terraform modules, and delivering scalable platforms. You will collaborate with Cybersecurity, Networking, and App teams to ensure availability, performance, and cost efficiency, while guiding lifecycle management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering or senior systems administration experience.
• Expert knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, VMware vSphere, AD, networking, storage, and virtualization.
• Experience designing and supporting hybrid infra with on-prem and GCP.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services including Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Monitoring, Logging, Load Balancing.
• Strong IaC experience using Terraform.
• GitHub source control and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Scripting for automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, operate, and modernize hybrid infrastructure across on-prem and GCP.
• Lead migration of workloads to Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop IaC modules and deployment templates; manage infrastructure as code in GitHub.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments; implement GitOps practices.
• Partner with cybersecurity and application teams to improve security, resiliency, and operations.
• Provide on-call support and lead major infrastructure projects.
