  • Develop and enforce best practices for security, governance, and compliance in hybrid environments, incorporating tools like Azure Security Center, Azure Policy, and identity solutions (e.g., Azure AD Connect).
  • Collaborate with development, operations, cloud platform, and security teams to define hybrid cloud strategies, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance, scalability, and disaster recovery.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies in hybrid cloud, Azure updates, and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that enhance system reliability and efficiency.
  • Update architectural documentation, create technical blueprints, and provide mentorship to other stakeholders on hybrid cloud best practices.
  • Participate in proof‑of‑concept projects, vendor evaluations, and capacity planning to support long‑term hybrid cloud roadmaps.
Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, and hybrid tools like Azure Stack or Azure Arc.
  • 3+ years of experience with on‑premises systems, including servers, virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V), and basic data center management.
  • 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting wide area network/local area network environments.
  • 3+ years of experience developing automation testing & maintaining automation tools.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a cross‑functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with RedHat‑based systems (RHEL, Oracle Linux, Fedora) and SUSE distro 12 or greater (e.g., DataDomain, vProxy).
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing IT security systems, troubleshooting operating system and installation issues, and administering user system access to meet network security requirements.
  • 3+ years of experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware, and managing virtualized environments, as well as installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux‑based systems and desktop operating systems.
  • Experience with iLOs and applying RMF guidelines for compliance, along with using metrics to measure project performance for quality delivery.
  • Experience with Linux file structures.
  • Experience with developing PowerShell and Linux scripts for hardware integration, automating OS deployment and configuration, and creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers.
