Job summary

Positron AI is seeking a Senior or Principal Infrastructure Security Engineer to secure a transition from on-prem to a hybrid-cloud model. You will own IAM, cloud provisioning for developers, IaC pipelines, and core tooling security for hardware and software teams.

The role is hands-on with high ownership, shaping authentication foundations, secret management, and threat detection. You will lead SIEM deployment and incident response to protect critical systems in a rapidly growing AI hardware

Qualifications

• Expertise in identity and access management, including SSO, RBAC, and identity platforms such as Auth0, Okta, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure provisioning via code.
• Strong track record deploying and operating IAM, PKI, and secret management.
• Production SIEM experience with threat detection and incident response leadership.
• Experience migrating from on-prem to hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of network segmentation and secure design.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and operate identity platforms across systems and clouds.
• Lead migration of workloads to a secure hybrid-cloud on GCP.
• Build and maintain IaC pipelines with Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage secrets, PKI, and artifact storage with security by design.
• Design network segmentation and monitor for threats with a SIEM.
