Job summary

Harp Home Services in Windsor, CT is seeking a dynamic HVAC Technical Trainer to join our team and lead training efforts for our service technicians. The role emphasizes designing, delivering, and updating training programs to improve individual and organizational performance.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of HVAC service experience and 5+ years in training and development, with EPA Type II or Universal Certification. Travel between training sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years HVAC service experience
• Minimum 5 years HVAC training and development experience
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification required
• Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings
• Experience in equipment repair and property maintenance desirable
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license for travel between locations

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs focused on HVAC/R systems, equipment repair, and property maintenance.
• Create instructional materials including schematics and technical documentation.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions for real-world skill practice.
• Assess trainees’ understanding through evaluations and feedback.
• Stay updated on HVAC industry trends and advancements to keep content current.
• Collaborate with management to identify training needs and tailor programs.
• Maintain records of training sessions, participant progress, and feedback.
