Job summary

Harp Home Services in Windsor, CT is seeking an experienced HVAC Technical Trainer to design and deliver training for HVAC/R systems, equipment repair, and property maintenance. The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and hands-on teaching ability to translate complex concepts into actionable skills.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in HVAC Training & Development and 7 years of HVAC Service experience, plus EPA Type II or Universal Certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years HVAC Training & Development experience
• Minimum 7 years HVAC Service experience
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification
• Valid driver’s license for travel between training locations and job sites
• Ability to adapt training methods to audience and learning styles

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs focused on HVAC/R systems, equipment repair, and property maintenance
• Create instructional materials including schematics and technical documentation
• Conduct hands-on training sessions in real-world scenarios
• Assess trainees’ understanding through evaluations and feedback
• Stay updated on HVAC technology trends to ensure current content
• Collaborate with management to identify training needs and tailor programs
• Maintain records of training sessions and participant progress for continuous improvement
