Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Senior HVAC Technician to ensure safe operation and maintenance of HVAC equipment across Riderwood Village in Silver Spring, MD. You will manage heat pumps, refrigeration, PRV valves, cooling towers, pumps, and building automation systems to keep residents comfortable and safe.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years HVAC service experience, EPA refrigerant certification, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 5+ years HVAC service experience or equivalent education.
• EPA refrigerant certification required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work scheduled and on-call overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration equipment as required.
• Respond to emergency calls for system or equipment failure.
• Inspect and evaluate system efficiency and safety for reliable operation.
• Read blueprints and isometrics; prepare sketches documenting work.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance per manufacturer recommendations.
• Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment and ice machines.
