Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living in Maryland is seeking a Senior HVAC Technician to ensure safe operation and maintenance of HVAC equipment, including heat pumps and cooling towers, to keep residents comfortable and safe. You will handle preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-call support as needed.

The role requires at least 5 years of HVAC service experience and an EPA refrigerant certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years HVAC service experience; education may be considered in lieu of experience.
• Must possess current EPA refrigerant certification.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work scheduled overtime including on-call as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failures.
• Inspect, monitor, and evaluate system safety and efficiency.
• Read blueprints and isometrics; prepare sketches to document work.
• Troubleshoot and repair designated refrigeration equipment and ice machines.
