Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge in Colorado is seeking a Senior HVAC Technician Lead to maintain and optimize industrial HVAC systems across hospital settings. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, analyze data, and provide recommendations on life expectancy, replacement and repair costs, with focus on reliability and minimal revenue impact.

The role requires EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification, a high school diploma, 3 years of healthcare/industrial experience, a valid driver’s

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
3 years of experience in a commercial, industrial, or healthcare environment required.
EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required.
Valid Driver’s License in good standing required.

Responsibilities

Maintain chilled water and centralized air handling units through regularly scheduled preventative maintenance activities.
Perform coil cleanings, filter changes, test and balance activities, sensor calibrations, and UV bulb replacements.
Lead apprentice level HVAC technicians in troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of commercial air conditioning and multi-zone systems.
Ability to create cost and downtime estimates for major repairs and/or equipment replacement.
Complete and document all work and labor time using the CMMS and communicate with the Director of Facility Management.
