Job summary

HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge in Colorado is seeking an HVAC Lead to maintain and optimize industrial HVAC systems across hospital settings. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and provide recommendations on life expectancy, replacement, and costs while adhering to HCA Engineering standards.

The role includes mentoring apprentices, documenting work in CMMS, and communicating with the Director of Facility Management about equipment conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of experience in commercial, industrial, or healthcare environment.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain chilled water and centralized air handling units with preventive maintenance.
• Perform coil cleaning, filter changes, balancing, calibrations, and UV bulb replacements.
• Lead apprentices in troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems.
• Create cost and downtime estimates for major repairs or replacements.
• Document work and labor time in CMMS and communicate with Facility Management.
