Job summary
The Critical Systems Technician III, HVAC at CPG in Ashburn, VA leads and performs preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on large data center HVAC systems to meet contractual commitments. He/she provides guidance to junior technicians and ensures safe, reliable operation of mission critical equipment.

Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years large commercial HVAC service experience.
- EPA Universal Certification required.
- AZ Journeyman HVAC license current/active.
- OSHA Certification.
- Virginia/Maryland driver’s license valid.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose trouble, and repair HVAC equipment without supervision.
- Maintain and operate air and water-cooled chillers, boilers, AHUs, FCUs, and cooling towers.
- Oversee building automation software and controls (DDC, pneumatic, VFD).
- Respond to after-hours calls as required.
- Mentor and supervise technicians of lower grades.
- Attend to on-call after-hours assignments.
- Adhere to attendance and safety standards.
