Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Senior HVAC Technician to ensure safe operation and maintenance of HVAC systems across Oak Crest Village. You will manage heat pumps, refrigeration, PRV valves, cooling towers, pumps, and building automation to maintain resident comfort.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of HVAC experience and EPA refrigerant certification, with readiness for scheduled and on-call overtime. Onsite roles include wellness and community support opportunities within a trusted senior

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years HVAC service experience; education will be considered in lieu of experience.
• Be able to work scheduled and on-call overtime as necessary.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; EPA refrigerant handling certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration equipment and related systems.
• Respond to emergency calls for system failures.
• Inspect, monitor, and assess efficiency and safety of systems; document work.
• Read blueprints and isometrics; prepare sketches as required.
• Perform preventive maintenance following manufacturer recommendations.
• Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration equipment and ice machines.

Join our team as a Senior HVAC Technician, where you will ensure the safe operation and maintenance of HVAC equipment, including heat pumps, refrigeration, PRV valves, cooling towers, pumps, motors, hot water systems, and building automation systems, providing a comfortable and safe environment for our residents.

Compensation: commensurate for experience between $29.00 - $34.00 hourly

How you will make an impact

• Perform requested maintenance of all HVAC equipment, refrigeration equipment, etc. as necessary.
• Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure.
• Inspect, monitor, and evaluate the efficiency and safety of systems to ensure trouble-free operation.
• Read blueprints and isometrics, prepare sketches as required to document work.
• Perform all necessary scheduled preventive maintenance procedures on designated equipment while following manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Troubleshoot and repair designated refrigeration equipment and ice machines.

What you will need

• Minimum of 5 years experience in HVAC service; education will be considered in lieu of experience.
• Will be expected to work a reasonable amount of scheduled and “on-call” overtime as necessary
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must possess current EPA certification to handle refrigerants
