Job summary

ACE Heating & Cooling in Tampa, FL is seeking a Senior HVAC Technician to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to advance your career while delivering high-quality comfort solutions and leading by example in the field.

You will diagnose and repair residential and light commercial systems, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with codes and manufacturer specs. We value craftsmanship, reliability, and clear communication with customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair experience.
• Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of refrigerants, electrical systems, and HVAC controls.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with both residential and light commercial systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems including AC units, heat pumps, and air handlers, package units, etc
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues across a variety of HVAC equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and tune-ups to ensure optimal system performance
• Ensure all work meets local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repairs, and recommendations
