Job summary

JJ Powell is seeking an experienced Sr. HVAC Technician to join our family-owned team. You will install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems, delivering top-tier service.

This on-site role offers a family-friendly schedule with evenings or weekends only occasionally. We provide a $3,000 sign-on bonus, 401(k) eligibility, health, dental and vision insurance, PTO, life and disability coverage, paid holidays, a company van, and cell phone reimbursement.

Qualifications

• HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair experience required.
• Completion of HVAC training program or equivalent.
• Strong front-line customer service and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems per specifications and safety standards.
• Perform regular maintenance and identify performance improvements.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems, replacing parts as needed.
• Test and troubleshoot installations to ensure proper operation.
• Consult with customers to recommend heating and cooling solutions.
• Maintain accurate service records and manage company equipment.
• Keep certifications up to date and complete continuing education.
• Work Monday–Friday with occasional evenings or weekends.

Inspect existing systems to identify potential issues before they become critical problems.Consult with Customers: Provide expert advice and recommendations to customers, ensuring they receive the best possible heating and cooling solutions.Maintain Work Records: Accurately document work performed, including services provided, parts used, and any recommendations for future maintenance.Manage Company Equipment: Operate and maintain the company van, tools, and equipment following company guidelines and safety protocols. Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.Maintain Certifications: Keep all required certifications up to date.
