Qualifications

• Active EPA Certification is required.
• 10+ years of HVAC experience in residential/commercial settings.
• Ability to troubleshoot, install, and repair HVAC systems independently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and access attics, rooftops, and crawl spaces.
• Valid driver license with insurable driving record.
• Must possess basic hand and personal HVAC tools.

Responsibilities

• Installation, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Diagnose complex system failures and provide long-term solutions.
• Install and maintain ductwork, electrical connections, and refrigerant lines.

Schedule: Monday through Friday with overtime potential and emergency on call shifts as required

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and Repairs: Install, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings.
• System Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure peak operating efficiency.
• Diagnostic Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex system failures and provide effective, long term solutions for repair.
• Line and Ductwork Assembly: Install and maintain ductwork, electrical connections, and refrigerant lines.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with EPA regulations, local mechanical codes, and company safety standards.
• Customer Stewardship: Work directly with customers to provide exceptional service, explaining repairs and answering questions clearly.
• Digital Documentation: Maintain accurate digital records of services performed and submit daily reports in a timely manner.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently.
• Industry Currency: Stay up to date with emerging industry advancements, new mechanical methodologies, and safety protocols.

What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)

• Mandatory Credentialing: Active EPA Certification is strictly required.
• Industry Tenure: 10 plus years of experience in a similar HVAC role across residential or commercial sectors.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to troubleshoot, install, and repair HVAC systems independently with deep knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant systems.
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills paired with strong problem solving abilities.
• Physical Capabilities: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work comfortably in varying environments such as attics, rooftops, and crawl spaces.
• Logistics Infrastructure: Valid driver license with an insurable driving record and comfort using smartphone or tablet based work systems.
• Personal Tools: Must possess basic hand and personal HVAC tools.
