Job summary

Dallas College is seeking a Senior HVAC Technician to support the Facilities Management Department’s mission of maintaining 5.5 million sq.ft. of space and 1,400 acres.

You will lead a team of HVAC technicians, perform advanced skilled craftwork in HVAC, and travel within Dallas County to sites across multiple campuses. Responsibilities include ensuring top HVAC work quality, managing preventive maintenance, budgeting, and driving safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with eight (8) years of related experience including three (3) years supervisory experience.
• Must have commercial Chiller/Boiler experience including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
• Valid Texas driver's license.
• EPA Certification is required.
• Bilingual or multilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the highest quality of HVAC work across all Dallas College locations.
• Supervises a team of HVAC technicians, schedules and quality control of duties; 50% in the field.
• Manages HVAC preventive maintenance program, ensures compliance with standards.
• Manages team budget and prioritizes HVAC projects.
• Willingness to travel within Dallas County using College vehicles.
• Completes Dallas College Professional Development hours per academic year.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
