Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. is seeking a TAB technician to perform testing, balancing and reporting for commercial HVAC systems. The role acts as a field liaison between customers and the project management team, ensuring accurate, timely reporting and communication.

Ideal candidates have extensive HVAC TB experience, strong report-writing skills, and a solid work ethic. OSHA 10 certification and a clean driving/criminal background are required.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years experience as a commercial HVAC test and balance technician.
• Capable of creating complete and professional-looking test and balance reports.
• Mechanical experience helpful.
• Mechanical, electrical and controls knowledge helpful.
• Superior customer service skills
• Must possess a strong work ethic and a high level of self-accountability, accuracy with reporting
• Able to demonstrate a high level of integrity and sense of pride in workmanship
• Proven ability to work independently and in collaboration with other technicians/team members
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer skills required
• OSHA 10 - Construction Safety & Health proof of training required prior to employment (can be easily taken online through OSHA)
• Must pass a driving and criminal record background check
