Job summary

Peyton Resource Group is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Foreman to lead field crews on commercial projects in the San Antonio area. You will supervise ductwork installation, coordinate daily job-site activities, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specifications.

The role requires 5+ years of sheet metal experience, leadership ability, read blueprints, and knowledge of codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC sheet metal experience.
• Foreman/lead or crew leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction safety and quality standards.
• OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead sheet metal installers and apprentices on commercial job sites.
• Oversee installation of commercial HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, shop drawings, and construction documents.
• Coordinate daily activities with project managers, superintendents, and other trades.
• Ensure installations meet project specifications, codes, and quality standards.
• Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment needed to maintain project schedules.
• Order materials and assist with job-site inventory management.
• Monitor project progress and communicate field issues or changes to project leadership.
• Enforce safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized job site.
