Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning seeks an experienced HVAC technician to diagnose, service, and maintain residential and light commercial systems. You will analyze problems, read wiring diagrams, and perform repairs, while delivering strong customer satisfaction and coordinating with dispatch.

Position requires independent work, EPA safety certifications, and 4+ years in HVAC; valid driver's license and physical ability to handle equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree/Certification in HVAC or related field or 4+ years of previous experience.
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems; previous experience as an Installer, Maintenance, or Service Technician.
• Required ability to work independently; good problem-solving skills.
• 5-10 years’ experience in HVAC with technical training certification required
• EPA and safety certifications required by governing laws for the geographical work area.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and service work on residential and/or light commercial HVAC equipment and accessories.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner.
• Inspect equipment and perform diagnostics to identify potential problems and prevent callbacks.
• Complete routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed.
• Deliver and remove parts and equipment needed to complete service work.
• Record information on a handheld device and complete paperwork neatly and accurately.
• Communicate with dispatch to provide status reports of activities and availability.
• Promote products and services to customers and assist with sales leads.
