Job summary

EMCOR Services Aircond is a leading HVAC service provider based in Charlotte, NC, offering service, installation, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems for commercial facilities.

The role covers Class 3–5 Service Technician duties, with travel across the Charlotte metro area. Strong troubleshooting, electrical schematics knowledge, and a valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade/Technical School certification or degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience including exposure to control, compound and reciprocating systems as well as refrigerants.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems, including related environmental-control equipment.
• Utilize knowledge of heating and refrigeration theory and pipefitting.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using electrical schematics.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on DX equipment, chillers, and boilers as appropriate by class.
• Maintain safety and PPE practices during all tasks.
