Job summary

EMCOR Services Aircond is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to install, service, and repair heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems in the Winston-Salem, NC area. The role covers Class II and Class III service technician duties, with responsibilities including reading schematics, diagnosing refrigerant issues, and basic to advanced troubleshooting.

A high school diploma or GED is required, with EPA certification and a valid driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade/Technical School certification or degree preferred.
• 4–5 years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience with exposure to control, refrigerants, and relevant equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License; EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems as part of the Winston‑Salem office operations.
• Read schematics and diagnose refrigerant system issues.
• Perform basic and advanced troubleshooting on unitary DX equipment and light plumbing where needed.
• Collaborate with team to meet safety standards and client requirements.
