Qualifications

• A high school diploma and three years trade experience that is directly related to the area of employment.
• Some positions require a commercial driver's license.
• Some positions require EPA-approved freon recovery certification.
• A valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, and inspects HVAC equipment and systems across campus.
• Recharges air conditioning systems with refrigerants and tests after power events.
• Overhauls compressors, condensers and related equipment.
• Coordinates repairs with Energy Management Operator for proper shutdowns and start up of air conditioning systems throughout campus.
• Supervises mechanics of lower grade and maintains a clean, safe work area.
