Job summary

Jobtailor in Green Bay, Wisconsin, seeks an experienced HVAC technician to maintain and repair Walmart refrigeration and HVAC equipment. You will support the refrigeration team, use a range of tools, and document work orders to keep stores running smoothly.

Candidates should have 3 years (or 6 with an AAS) in HVAC/refrigeration, EPA refrigerant handling certs, and a valid driver’s license. OSHA/EPA safety training and adherence to safety policies are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration, or 6 years’ experience with an AAS in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling is required.
• HVAC-R/Mechanical Journeyman status where required.
• 1–2 years experience in plumbing/electrical or Walmart store experience as applicable.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Support and oversee repairs within the Walmart facilities refrigeration HVAC equipment team.
• Use commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Use the work order management system to receive repair work orders and document repair activities.
• Support stores and store associates.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment, and fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete required safety training for equipment and tools.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, Walmart refrigeration HVAC safety policies, and environmental guidelines.
