Job description

ASO is looking for a Supply Technician to work in Fort Cavazos, TX. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

This position performs stock control and accounting duties for ammunition, explosives, and associated explosive components using hardware and software systems and manual records. You’ll perform the issue, receipt, shipment, turn-in, inventory, and maintenance transfer of ammunition and explosives using Standard Army Ammunition System (SAAS). Review and accept customer requests using Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS). Generate reports on stock levels, usage, and any discrepancies encountered.

  • a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.

  • an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced.

  • analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.

Qualifications

  • 5 years minimum experience in Army Ammunition Stock Control and Accounting.

  • Leadership, instruction, teaching, mentoring experience.

  • Ability to communicate effectively.

  • Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.

  • Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result and obtain/maintain a CAC.

  • High School Diploma / GED.

  • Competent use of Microsoft Word, Excell, and Adobe products.

  • Proficient in using computer systems and inventory management software.

  • Good interpersonal skills.

Pay & Benefits:

  • Hourly pay $27.71.
