Job summary

CoolSys is hiring a Service Tech5-HVAC to repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating and ventilation systems for diverse client sites. You will work across convenience stores, groceries and food service environments, ensuring quality, safety and on‑time performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade program/technical school completed.
• Tech Skills level 5 with 80% or better.
• Must hold a valid CFC certificate and all required safety certifications.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines and gas furnaces.
• Experience with refrigeration equipment in convenience and supermarket stores.
• Expert knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electrical.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul equipment, refrigeration, heating and ventilation to meet customer needs.
• Provide expert repair work on HVAC/R equipment in a safe, timely manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Process job tickets and route work orders to the appropriate department.
• Provide training to new or less qualified technicians as needed.
• Maintain truck inventory and drive company vehicle safely.

• Other duties as assigned.
