Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA refrigeration certification.
• 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience with display cases and walk-in boxes is a plus.
• Good driving record and the ability to work independently.
• Emergency on-call availability is required.
• Lift up to 60 lbs and sit/stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment.
• Repair/overhaul equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment issues.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components.
• Maintain accurate work history records.
• Process job tickets and work orders for the department.
• Assist with pickup, delivery, and installation of cases.
• Work on minor construction and startup of new installations.
