Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in California seeks an experienced HVAC/R Facilities Technician to install, maintain, repair, and optimize critical building systems, including boilers, chillers, air handlers, and associated controls.

You will support safe, efficient facility operations and participate in on-call maintenance. The role requires extensive troubleshooting, adherence to ASHRAE standards, and collaboration with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; two-year technical degree preferred.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.
• 10+ years HVAC/R maintenance experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to read diagrams.
• Proficiency with BAS systems and control logic.
• Must lift 50 lbs and work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems such as chillers and boilers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and refrigeration components.
• Service chilled and hot water systems and related equipment.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&IDs.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams; respond to CMMS work orders.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior staff.
