Job summary

Nextech, a leading HVAC/R service provider in the United States, seeks an HVAC/R Technician to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain systems for commercial clients. You’ll be empowered to troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, and support after-hours calls while documenting details via iPads.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of HVAC/R field technician experience.
• EPA certification and a valid driver’s license.
• Journeyman’s license may be required in some states.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
• Perform maintenance and emergency service, including after-hours on-call rotations.
• Document all service details using company-provided iPads.
• Maintain vehicle, tools, and parts inventory to high standards.
• Communicate with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Identify additional service opportunities and communicate with customers.
