Job summary

Berkeys is seeking an experienced HVAC QC Technician to join our residential service team. You will troubleshoot complex HVAC issues, mentor fellow technicians, ensure quality workmanship, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
• EPA Certification (required).
• Active TDLR Technician Registration (required).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience using HVAC diagnostic tools, gauges, recovery equipment, and brazing techniques.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and mobile technology).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex residential HVAC service issues.
• Perform quality control inspections and ensure repairs meet company and code standards.
• Install and start up HVAC equipment when needed.
• Recommend repair and replacement solutions that best meet homeowners’ needs.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, teammates, and management.
• Mentor and coach technicians through field training and hands-on support.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Collect payment when appropriate and follow company service processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and professional appearance.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while handling challenging situations with confidence.
