French & Parrello Associates (FPA) in Wall Township, NJ, seeks an experienced Project Manager for our Mechanical Engineering Department to lead complex HVAC projects, mentor teams, manage budgets and schedules, and deliver code-compliant, energy-efficient designs.

The successful candidate will oversee design through construction, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, cultivate client relationships, and contribute to proposals and growth of FPA’s mechanical practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of mechanical engineering experience with HVAC design and systems.
• NJ Professional Engineer license required (LEED certification preferred).
• Proven expertise in HVAC design, codes, energy efficiency, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering projects with a focus on HVAC design for multiple building types.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and resources; manage project risks and client requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated designs.
• Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and reports; support proposals and new business opportunities.
