French & Parrello Associates (FPA) seeks a Project Manager for our Mechanical department in Wall, NJ. The role focuses on leading HVAC design across commercial, institutional, and industrial projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and delivering high-quality documentation.

Applicants should have 10+ years in mechanical engineering with HVAC, an NJ PE license, and proficiency in Trane Trace, HAP, EnergyPlus, AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of mechanical engineering experience, HVAC design, and large consulting projects.
• NJ Professional Engineer (PE) license required; LEED or similar sustainability credentials are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC codes, standards, energy efficiency, and sustainability practices.
• Proficient in HVAC design software: Trane Trace, Carrier HAP, EnergyPlus, AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Project; BIM a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mechanical engineering HVAC projects for diverse building types.
• Develop and oversee HVAC system design, coordination, and execution per codes and client needs.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver on time and within budget.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across disciplines to ensure project success.
