Job summary

Greater Comfort Mechanical in Lexington, Kentucky seeks a Lead HVAC Installer / Project Manager to oversee commercial HVAC installation projects from kickoff to completion. You will lead installation crews, manage schedules, and ensure safety and quality standards on every job.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience, a Journeyman license, and proven leadership and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• HVAC Journeyman License required.
• 10+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
• Proven experience leading installation teams.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, and controls.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings/specifications.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets.
• Attend jobsite meetings and communicate project updates.
• Identify and resolve project issues before they impact schedules.
• Ensure projects are completed within scope and customer expectations.
• Coordinate with operations, sales, service, and procurement teams.
• Lead and supervise installation crews; train and mentor apprentices.
